This is a younger kids version of an action and adventure series. This series began after the first Harry Potter books came out. I noticed that the covers of "The Secret of Droon," "The Magic Tree House", and "The Series of Unfortunate Events" all had a character with dark hair and glasses on their covers. Did they really think we would be fooled?
This is a fast moving story. The children go into the basement to help Eric clean. The ball rolls into a dark corner. When they go to get the ball, a hidden staircase appears. The children follow the staircase into the world of Droon. They meet up with a princess who needs their help. They meet up with creatures who look like pillows and others who look like rocks and breathe fire. They also meet a dangerous villian. Will they be able to find their way back home? Will their parents be frantic?
